Time for a fantastic photo.

Why Fantastic?

Two Reasons.

No. 1 – It is a photo of a sculpture by a lovely Andalucian Sculptor we met on our recent trip to Spain.  Manalo.

No. 2 – I found a lovely photo effect to compliment it beautifully!

I may need intervention – this could be habit forming.

Have an interesting week-end.

We just returned from Andalusia ourselves. Beautiful sculpture from a beautiful place.

Hi Sonja, We stayed mostly in Spain, but ventured to Morocco and lisbon only in Portugal. A beautiful experience all of it. Andalucia was wonderful wasn’t it? Jan

Fantastic photo indeed! One of the best things about traveling for me is discovering art like this in my travels around a new city. It’s great that city councils everywhere have adopted the tradition of putting up public art. Just great. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Maggie, Manalo has done public space sculptures, but this one was actually on the external private courtyard wall of the house we house-sat in Andalucia. We were introduced to Manalo by the home owners and visited his property in the country, where he stored and worked on all his metal and sculptures. It is a cherished memory. Thanks for your comments. Jan
