Galipdede Guitar Table

Fantastic Friday in Galipdede Caddesi Istanbul

For our first week in Istanbul we lived in an AIRBNB Apartment near Galata Tower.  Most nights we walked up Galipdede Caddesi until it met Istiklal Caddesi, the most well known street in Istanbul.
We referred to Galipdede as Music Street, because of the many music shops that lined the street and the amount of buskers that congregated there.

This table made from a guitar made me smile.

Galipdede Guitar Table

I hope it brings a smile to your Fantastic Friday.

Very cool table, Jan! I watched a travel reality show with a stopover in Istanbul. I had never thought twice about it. After seeing the interaction with the nice people AND the incredible food I was immediately interested! 🙂

How cool is that guitar table….to sit there and watch the town would be so ideal! Coffee, Cake, a friend or two – perfect way to be 🙂

You are so right Lisa. Galipdede is an amazing people watching street. We had a favourite cafe which was open onto the street. I will do a post on it soon. 🙂
