When we visit a town for one big reason, like to see the amazing ROMAN AQUEDUCT and Bridge in Segovia, Spain, we inevitably turn away from the splendour, looking for another impression, the Ying for the Yang.
Like these images from a random walk.
Then a corner is turned, and BAM, the splendour returns in a different form – fantastic.
The Cathedral.
Have a wonderful week-end, but most of all a Fantastic Friday.
I also love the unexpected and it’s true when you are travelling that serendipity is often just around the corner.
Yes, turning corners in an unknown place is addictive!
Oh wow! Such a stunning difference in views with just one turn around a corner. 🙂
I know, it is good not to know what is around the next corner:)
I actually prefer the older style buildings! Such charm and character. And such love can come from giving them a bit of TLC.
When I went to England I used to walk through lots of country towns and marvel at how many different types of buildings could all be in one town. Segovia sounds ideal for those exploring all aspects of the town.
England is certainly full of beautiful houses and old houses. I first went there as very impressionable 21 year old and can still remember the impression that country made on me. We stayed with friends in a 300 year old thatched roof cottage in Devon that was painted pink. Directly under the floor boards was earth – no concrete. So when it rained the water came up through the boards into their carpets. That said it all!
