Meet the Budget Travel Talk Team
We are Jan and Marty, the team behind Budget Travel Talk, a travel website focussing on the Asia Pacific region and Europe.
Meet our Readers
Our readers are independent travellers, who experience a destination in their own way, not by simply ticking sights off a list. They look for value from their travel dollars and although they enjoy comfort, they place value on finding that special local experience to call their own.
They are interested in independent travel and authentic food discovery, including taking cooking classes at their holiday destination.
A growing number of our readers are interested in and love Cruising. Many are retired or semi-retired. They are at a stage in their life when they know what they want and have the time and budget to pursue it.
Statistics show our Audience are primarily based in Australia, USA, U.K. with a minority from Canada, Singapore and the many European countries we explore and write about. They comprise an even mix of the sexes, with the majority in the age group 25-44.
