Road tripping in Australia, especially when in encompasses the whole of Australia can be long term and expensive. These long road trips are typically referred to as Going Around Australia or The Big Lap.

On road trips in Australia we drive a 2017 Mazda BT50 and tow a 2015 Coromal Element 542 Caravan.

To cut down on accommodation costs we recommend a mix of Free Camping, low cost camping in Showgrounds or Farm campsites and staying in commercial Caravan Parks.
