We were heading back from a three day trip from Marrakech to the Sahara, when we stopped at a roadside shop for a break. This is where I saw a “Moroccan” take-away food stall – six Tagines in a row.
TAKE-AWAY FOOD MOROCCO STYLE
I walked around behind the Tagines to check out what was in the red cabinet:
My mouth was watering just thinking about what delights would come from there!

Something I loved/hated about Morocco… the Tagines. Yes they are so damn good, but after a few weeks of being there you get so tired of them. I remember seeing these on the road… but never got one.

I also did not try these roadside tagines – we had already eaten when we came upon them. I thought the idea was great though. I know what you mean about the abundance of tagines – mind boggling! We managed to find other things to eat though. We went to one restaurant which had an extensive menu, but when it came to the crunch they only had chicken and vegetable tagine, lol. p.s. luckily it was a good one though.
