The scenery is beautiful and the pictures of food for sale are so fascinating. I didn’t even realize that salt could be sold that way. What is the tower in the view out your hotel room. A mosque?

Yes Michelle it is a mosque. Surprisingly it does not wake us in the morning! That salt gives a whole new meaning to the term rock salt doesn’t it?

Hi Krısta. We left our laptop on a connectıng flıght back ın Australıa 5.5 weeks ago so I have been relyıng on ınternet cafes and the odd pansıyon computer. And they all have Turkısh keyboards. I sure wıll have lots of catchıng up to do when we get home. We fly to Cambodıa on the 15th. There are so so many of those huge cabbages and I have not found them ın the local cookıng! I thınk they all go ınto pıckles.

Some amazing views here, Jan. And I’ve never seen cabbages that size before! All the best with the trip…

I really enjoyed the road trip we did. Such big wide open spaces and such a feeling of freedom. 🙂
