We threw away the map in Barri Gotic – the gothic quarter in Barcelona – and
- became lost in the maze,
- fossicked in shops that stocked artistic and imaginative momentos,
- luxuriated in pastry heaven at Santa Clara with a wonderful coffee in hand (is there no bad coffee in Spain?) and
- walked mesmerised under this beautiful aerial crossover bridge many times in the day.
We were always thankful when we came across it again, and again, never tiring of it’s beauty. We were not lost…
Under the neogothic style bridge designed byJoan Rubió over Carrer del Bisbe (Bishop’s Street) in Barcelona.
Do you have a favourite landmark that you never tire of?

I love Barcelona. Have only been once, for a few days, but would like spend more time there. Great photo, and the bridge looks familiar! I wonder if I walked in Bishop’s Street too!

I think you probably did Johanna – what a romantic place. Jan

That looks magical! And to have coffee that taste good – perfect 🙂
I love returning to places that make us all happy, so I guess I dont really have a favorite place, but lots of places ~ as long as my family are having a good time then we are all content.

I know what you mean Lisa. If the whole family is happy you can’t ask for more. I imagine with five children, the amount of times that would happen would be rare. At least yours are all boys, with a boy and a girl it was hard to get it right. Jan
