When BootsnAll asked for favourite photos for Day 25 of the #Indie30 challenge, it was a given that mine would include a Fun Photo, a Cat Photo and a Sunset.
I decided to choose favourite photos from our 2013 Turkey Experience.
The spectacular Roman Ruins at Ephesus, Turkey are overrun with cats, but where do our furry friends go when the hordes of tourists descend?
The hand basins at the toilets of course.
Fun and Cat Photo in One.
I wish my Christmas Tree was hung with Pretty baubles from the Cappadocia region of Turkey.
We sat beside these two old gents in a tea garden on the north west coast of Turkey. The peace was so intense I felt we were frozen in time.
The unofficial groundsmen at the Ruins of Ani in N.E. Turkey on the border with Georgia, were enthusiastic foragers. I was raised alongside my Grandmother’s herd of milking goats and can NEVER resist photographing a goat. Goats are the funniest, most mischievous animals on the planet. You really should get to know one.
Taking a Break in Istanbul. I tried to crop this photo because it was so large, but everything in it screamed ISTANBUL, so it remained unaltered 🙂
The Travertines at Pamukkale were a special sight at Sunset.
This post is linked to Noel’s Travel Photo Mondays over at Travel Photo Discovery.

That’s funny i took a shot of those cats in the sink – only they were in the men’s room – your capture of Pamulake at sunset is stunning!

I feel like that last shot should be licensed on Getty or other photo wires. It’s gorgeous!

It is amazing how the cats have adopted Ephesus as their home. Thanks for commenting Jess. 🙂
