I rang the local council who said it is to do with the Cowboys playing in the NRL semi-final tonight.  I had hoped it had something to do with Beyond Blue.  I love the way the random car is colour matched.  I have not altered the colours at all.

OH WOW – I thought it was something that had been edited! Never seen such a gorgeous blue water fall before. Stunning – and yeah the car is a perfect touch!

I know Lisa, the colour was startling. The fountain is sometimes red to promote Red Cross Blood Donations, but I have never seen the waterfall a different colour. Maybe the car was attracted to the colour. lol Jan

This looks great. I wonder how much food dye it takes to get the fountain looking like this? I like the idea of Beyond Blue better than the football too.

Hi Danielle, It is such a dense blue I hate to think what it took to get it so. I think the piggy back advertising idea might have worked in Beyond Blue’s favour. There was no announcement as to why they were blue, so it would get people thinking and I guess a lot of them would start thinking about Beyond Blue and depression, so it might have had some effect anyway. Hi Lisa, I am hoping that some people thought it was for Beyond Blue anyway, so it probably heightened awareness for the cause. Jan x
