Election Tallies on a Marrakech Wall

Travel Theme – Texture

I love the challenges set by Where’s My Backpack.  This weeks challenge – Texture, was an easy one for me because we recently returned from Marrakech and Marrakech is full of textures.  The walls are in all states of disrepair, the mud coatings decay and the bricks become exposed.  I could photograph them all day – maybe I did.  The Medina walls are where the election tallies are recorded.

Election Tallies on a Marrakech Wall

The tall walls of the Marrakech Medina reveal their inner selves.

This post forms part of Where’s My Backpack’s: Travel Theme – Texture.  For more textures be sure to take a peek.

Have you been to the Marrakech medina?

Happy Travels – Budget Jan

Hi Krista, It seems people either love or hate Marrakech. I went with great hopes but was prepared to be disappointed. We had a positive experience. I loved it because it is so different to our life at home. Jan

Perfect example of textures. Morocco is a great place for so many things – colours, sights, sounds, smells AND textures. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog, which allowed me to find your great website 🙂

    Happy travels!

that wall is incredible! Love the idea of writing on the wall – and how incredible the walls are able to still be there even if they are showing their bricks on the inside.
Love the photo and the colours!

Those walls had stories to tell on the outside and the inside. Thanks for commenting Lisa.
